Personnel who plan, complete, set into production or perform maintenance on injection on production
wells offshore. Personnel in staff function onshore or personnel supplying equipment or services to
various well operations are included in the target group for this course.

About this course
After completing the course the student should be able to participate in the planning and executing of
the design of injection and production wells as well as selecting equipment and methods. They should
also be able to describe the methods and equipment required to start production from sub-sea
completed wells. Furthermore they will be able to explain the requirements for well maintenance and
safety on various types of well operations.
Introduction courses or relevant professional background.
This web based course is in accordance with the guidelines from The Norwegian Oil Industry
Association and covers the official Norwegian syllabus for Technical College, Petroleum Technology
Faculty. The course is equivalent to 74 hours of ordinary tuition in this subject
