About this course

After completing the course students should be able to test and fault trace pneumatic and hydraulic installations and describe the electrical control and regulation on an offshore installation. Furthermore they should know about PLS controls and describe the applied measuring control techniques connected with well operations and production. They should also be able to describe the construction, operation and procedures for shut down of the circulation system on a platform.

Introduction courses or relevant professional background.

This web based course is in accordance with the guidelines from The Norwegian Oil Industry Association and covers the official Norwegian syllabus for Technical College, Petroleum Technology Faculty. The course is equivalent to 75 hours of ordinary tuition in this subject.
