Course programme

Update offers two 17th Edition (BS7671:2008) courses for delivery to companies anywhere in the UK. The full 3-day 17th Edition course (City & Guilds 2382-10) is for electricians and others who carry out electrical installation work and has no formal entry requirements. The 1-day update course (City & Guilds 2382-20) course is designed for experienced electricians who already possess a 16th Edition qualification (please check with us which qualifications are acceptable before booking)

Additional information

Comments: Update are specialists in delivering courses on-site or at any other suitable location throughout the UK and abroad. The "we come to you" approach is often much more cost effective than sending personnel to external venues for training purposes.
Career opportunities: Most registration bodies and employers require electricians to be qualified to the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. The City and Guilds 2382 qualification is widely accepted as the industry standard and is essential for those engaged in electrical installation work.
