17th Edition Wiring Regulations Update
The course will run for one day. It will take place at the above address. There will be three sessions taking place in the morning, early afternoon and late afternoon. The one hour GOLA Assessment will take place after completion of the third session and candidates should be prepared for an evening finish. Disabled access, free parking and refreshment facilities will be made available to all students.
The course is intended to enable those candidates who already hold a 2381 certificate based on the 16th Edition of the Wiring Regulations to update to the 17th edition of the Wiring Regulations.
This 1 day update course covers the new material of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations. The one hour GOLA assessment is a multiple choice, open book examination – a copy of the BS 7671:2008 is required for both the course and examination. Successful completion of the assessment leads to the award of the City & Guilds 2382-20 Certificate.
The course is open to all those holding the 2381 qualification based on the 16th Edition Wiring Regulations regardless of age, gender, race, creed or special needs.
To ensure that all learning styles are catered for during the course a variety of teaching methods will be employed in addition to the formal lecture. Teaching methods will include question and answer sessions, group discussion, student reading and note taking, practical sessions and written practice exercises. This will build towards an effective and enjoyable experience for all students.
All resources needed for the course will be provided. This includes the loan of a copy of the Requirements for Electrical Installations IEE Wiring Regulations seventeenth Edition BS 7671:2008 for the duration of the course.
