3D Design Craft (Glass, Ceramics & Jewellery) BTEC National Award Level 3

About the course:
The course provides the opportunity to explore these unique materials through a variety of processes within our fully equipped studio. Students will work closely with tutors on individual projects or develop specific techniques focusing on their own creative ideas.

Course Content:
This structured course will focus on fusing and slumping techniques in a thorough and hands-on way. You will then have the option to carry on in a multi-disciplinary way using a multitude of techniques or concentrating on one or two methods fully supported by talented and experienced practicing artists and tutors.

Learning Style:
This is an intensive course with a steep learning curve, ideally suited for students who wish to gain skills and knowledge in glass in a short space of time.

Equipment Requirements:
All equipment will be provided by the College. If you require any additional items, these can be purchased from the Art Shop at City College on the St Mary Street campus.
