Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs at grade C or above which should include maths, English and science. Exceptional entry for this course will be considered, dependent upon your existing skills and qualifications. Please note: If you already completed the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Construction, you can progress onto this qualification.
Course Duration
One year, full time.
Skills and Benefits
If you are thinking about joining one of the built environment professions, this is the first step on the ladder. This course will give you a solid foundation as well as developing your practical skills in surveying and building surveying. You will study a series of units which have been specially selected to cover the components of the construction industry.

Course Assessment
The units follow a programme of continuous assessment throughout your course. Please note: There are no examinations on this course.
Progression
Those gaining the Extended Diploma in Construction will be eligible to progress onto a number of Higher Education courses depending upon the grades that you receive at the end of the Diploma course.
