A1 Assessor Award

Any workplace or learning centre where learners are assessed will benefit from the skills of assessors and verifiers. The previous qualifications for assessors and verifiers - the D32, D33,D34 and D36 awards - were extremely popular, and now they’ve been updated to comply with the new national standards issued by the Employment NTO.

The new standards are more rigorous than before, with significant changes in the assessment procedures. City and Guilds have been awarding assessor and verifier qualifications for a number of years and their awards are well respected within the industry. So, you can be confident that your learners are equipped with the most relevant, up-to-date skills and knowledge, and they'll have a qualification awarded by the UK's leading provider of vocational qualifications.

The A1 Award is designed to offer those individuals who are, or will be, assessing learners taking National Vocational Qualifications, a programme of training in skills, techniques and principles of assessing competency using a variety of assessment methods.
