Course Content:
The course includes the following units: Module 4-Further physical and organic chemistry, Module 5- Thermodynamics and further inorganic chemistry, Module 6- Synoptic assessment.You will also be expected to carry out coursework (assessed practical investigations ) If you are 16-19 you will also be on a curriculum 2000 programme doing Key Skills in Communication, Application of Number and IT, plus enrichment sessions.

Other Information:
Assessment for this course is by 3 linear written examinations taken in the summer term and practical coursework assessments carried out through the year. You will also have regular assignments and a mock examination. You must have been well motivated and your attendance and punctuality must have also been good.

Progression:
Successful students progress to Higher education or employment.
