It allows students to develop their ability to express themselves both in speech and writing with competence and sophisitcation

Three units 1 & 2 via exam. Unit 3 Coursework

Content:
Investigating and understanding the diversity of uses and contexts for spoken and written English in the modern world and in your own lives. You will be given the opportunity to develop your practical and theoretical understanding of the subject and also have the opportunity to develop your expertise as writers
Students will also explore critical viewpoints and influences of texts, read and compare literary texts, develop an ability to analyse seen and unseen texts in light of knowledge gained during the course and study synoptic papers.
