Course Content:
A2 Law allows for the study of many different areas of law. The course includes the following three units: Unit (3) Criminal Law or contract Law. Unit (4) Tort and Synoptic Paper. This will allow students to draw on their learning of both AS and A2 units focussing on ideas of justice and morality. If you are 16-19 years of age, you will also be on curriculum 2000 programme doing key skills alongside enrichment sessions.

Other Information:
The course will develop and enhance your powers of expression both verbally and in writing and will increase your understanding of public and political affairs, social values and morality. You will be assessed both informally through regular assignments, tests and mock examinations, and formally by 2 written examinations. You will need to achieve good grades in informal assessments, you must be well motivated and your attendance and punctuality must also be good.

Progression:
Successful students may progress to University or employment.
