Course Description:
Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour and experience. This course looks at how individuals and groups operate, enabling us to understand and predict behaviour.

Description Breakdown:
We follow the AQA "A" syllabus.

There are two exams. Unit 3, 90 mins. is taken in January. Topics relate to biological rhythms and sleep, perception, cognition and development.

Unit 4, 2 hours, invloves topics related to depression, anomalistic psychology, psychological research and scientific method.

Students will need to have, or develop, essay writing skills and the ability to critically appraise research.

Trips Residentials: All learners on full time courses will be given the opportunity to visit universities for Open Days and HE fairs.
