What will I do on this course?
In the first year you will study three modules:

· Practical skills.
In the second year you will build on your AS Level work by studying
important biological processes and genetics. There is an emphasis on practical work if you want to pursue a career in a scientific field. The course also develops skills such as analysis and problem solving that can be used in any career. In the second year you will study three modules:
· Communication, korneastasis and energy within organisations
· Control, genomes and environment
· Practical skills.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by examination and practical work. The practical assessment makes up 20% of the total marks for each year.
