NEC's 'A' level in Classical Civilisation - an introduction to ancient Rome and Greece, using carefully selected works of classical literature.
The course will also explore the background to the art and literature of these ancient civilisations, enabling students to understand the context in which these works were first created, and to develop an appreciation of them from a modern perspective.
