AS & A Level Economics

Topics of study include Markets and Market Failure, National and International Economy, Economic Principles and Issues, Operation of Markets and Market Failure and the National Economy in a Global Context. The course will include a variety of learning experiences such as lectures, tutorials, ICT-based tasks, practical work, discussion and personal research. This aspect of the course is particularly important for Economics because it is assumed that you are keeping up-to-date with current affairs issues. Also, as part of your Economics course you will be offered the chance to go on to several educational visits including a trip to Jaguar Land Rover in Solihull. There are also several trips to some prestigious universities which offer exceptionally good higher education courses in Economics.
