Course programme

This programme is designed to develop an interest and understanding of economics in the real world, both on a business and personal level. Economics covers many different aspects in society such as law, health, science, education and crime. It is an interesting and exciting subject to study that engages students and provides you with excellent prospects for your future career. The skills you learn throughout your Economics programme are exactly what employers are looking for, making you stand out over other candidates when applying for jobs.
This programme can be combined with other AS/A Levels, with a vocational programme, such as an Edexcel Diploma, or studied on its own. You will achieve the AQA AS/A Level in Economics.
You will learn in a variety of ways, including demonstrations, skills workshops and formal lessons. Assessment will be a mix of coursework, portfolio and externally set exams.
