What will I do on this course?

A residential field trip is an important part of this course. It provides you with valuable first-hand experience of geography and helps you to achieve higher grades in your exams.

The course includes:

· World at risk â€" natural hazards and climate change
· Going Global â€" economic change, population and migration
· Geographical investigations â€" crowded coasts and rebranding
places
· Contested planet â€" management of water and energy resources,
threats to biodiversity, superpowers and bridging the development gap
· Geographical research â€" choice from tectonic hazards, cold
environments, life on the margins, cultural diversity, pollution and
health risks, leisure in rural areas.

You will have a choice of research topics.

How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through four written exams which include
questions based on fieldwork and research.
