Course Overview
The course looks in detail at a diverse range of topics, including poverty and the British state, and Germany's transition from the Weimar Republic to Hitler's regime, while taking in themes such as expansion, aggression and democracy.
Pre-requisites
GCSE History is not a requirement as such, although it is essential that candidates possess an inquiring mind, an interest in the past, and the ability to communicate.

Assessment
Once you've enrolled on your chosen course(s), you'll receive all the information you need to arrange your own exams, including details of syllabuses, exam boards and dates. Exams are held in various parts of the UK. If you're based outside of the UK, it may be possible to sit your exam through your local British Council, depending on your location. Exams take place in January and June with the deadlines for submitting coursework being 1st October and 1st February respectively.
Please note that exam fees are additional to course fees.
