What will I do on this course?

At AS Level, you will study European history over the first half of the
twentieth century and an in-depth study of 19th century British social
history. At A2 the focus will be on world history, plus a â€-Historical Enquiry†which will be internally assessed. You will have the opportunity to visit a European city and to attend a history conference.

How will I be assessed?
Assessed through examinations and coursework.

Progression
A Level History combined with other related A Levels will give you access to read History or a history related degree at university. It is an ideal preparation for a career in law, journalism and public administration, as well as academic research, history teaching and museum and archive work. Last year 80% of students
progressed to university.
