Course Summary:
The impact of Law can be seen all around us in our daily lives, from headline-grabbing crimes and problem neighbours to the day-to-day issues of buying and selling goods. A knowledge of the Law is therefore both helpful and interesting, and can provide you with excellent career prospects.

You will need four GCSE passes at grade C or above, including Mathematics. In addition, you will need a grade B in English Language.

Course Content: At AS Level you will cover: Law Making and the Legal System The Concept of Liability At A2 Level you will cover: Criminal Law (fatal and non-fatal offences against the person) Tort and Concepts of Law How will I be assessed? There is no coursework for AS Law. You will sit two exams in the summer. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? No What can I do after this course? Law is an extremely useful qualification for entry to higher education to study a wide range of subjects.
