Course overview This single unit qualification is available at Level 2 on the QCF. On completion of this single unit qualification, students will be able to use the SAGE computerised accounting system to enter accounting transactions, perform a reconciliation, correct errors and produce a range of reports. They will also be able to maintain the security of accounting information using passwords and backup routines. The Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounting (SAGE) is suited to a wide range of students. Whether unqualified accounting staff, career changers, aspiring school leavers or those not currently in employment, the qualification is open to all students with no prerequisites to register. It may also provide a progression opportunity for any students that you currently have on the Level 1 AAT Access qualification, the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or as an additional certification to those students who are currently on Level 2 of the AAT Accounting Qualification. Entry requirements The minimum requirement is Grade C in GCSE in maths and English.
