The AAT Diploma Pathway is an alternative to the existing NVQ route. It is based on the same occupational standards, delivers the same high standards, delivers the same high level of practical skills, knowledge and competence and involves assessment by a combination of exams and practical skill tests. The Diploma consists of three levels, each of which is a qualification in its own right: Certificate in Accounting. Advanced Certificate in Accounting. Diploma in Accounting.

About this course

You must obtain at least one year's relevant work experience. Experience can be gained in any employment sector. The experience can be gained before, during or after studying for the Accounting Technician qualification.

MAAT Qualification
On completion you will be able to call yourself an Accounting Technician and use the designation MAAT (Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians) after your name. Please note that in order to achieve the AAT qualification you will need to join the AAT as a student member. The following items are payable directly to the AAT and are therefore not included in your Premier Training course fees:
