Italian one to one courses in Florence

Lorna Speid

What I would highlight: I want to thank Istituto Galilei for helping me with my understanding of Italian. I have continued to learn through a TV suscription and I am already arranging my holidays to enroll on the conversation course.
What could be improved: Nothing could be better.

Drawing and painting course in Florence

Tom Conklin

17/09/2015
What I would highlight: We travelled to Florence, Tuscany and Venice. This drawing and painting course was the highlight of our trip in Italy. Our teacher Angelo was excellent and warm-welcoming as he was our host. Not only did we learn new drawing techniques in the Renaissance manner, but we were also taught how to appreciate the masterpieces seen during our trip.
What could be improved: Nothing could be improved.

What I would highlight: My wife and I stayed two months in Florence and Istituto Galilei was able to not only teach us Italian language but to enhance our Italian art and history knowledge. They gave us recommendations on what t visit each day after class and every week we attended an organised trip by the school. After visiting other academies in Europe, we can guarantee that this one proves to have the best teaching method by far.
What could be improved: Nothing.

What I would highlight: I had to go for an intensive Italian course as I had to start an expat appointment in Italy two days after the course. The Academy tailored a programme for me and two highly profesional teachers were in charge of my learning. The individual lessons took into consideration my knowledge and I was able to learn Italian faster tan normal. Where else could I learn Italian if not in Florence? The atmosphere guarantes a good learning!
What could be improved: My stay was too short.

Course of the history of Florence

Dan Younan

12/06/2015
What I would highlight: The History of Florence is a wonderful course that helps understand the Renaissance and its roots in the city of Florence. Istituto Galilei has a great teacher, Nicola, who is able to discover this topic in a very enthusiastic, personable and knowledgeable manner and in a short amount of time. I learned about places, artists, their ideas and was able to see the rich connection between these groups. I am no longer a tourist in Florence, as my view of this city changed completely by doing this course. Now I feel much more connected to this great story. The course group was small and everyone was able to interact and ask questions. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: The course was perfect! What can I say?

Italian business courses and language specialization in Florence

Joyce G.

06/06/2015
What I would highlight: I want to share my wonderful experience with the Instituto Galilei and help others to achieve an understanding of the language and culture as I did. Being over 50 years old, it is not the same to learn a language. I was pleased to see that Istituto Galilei is an adult school intended for adults. It is focused towards adults and tailored by professional teachers, highly skilled. By spending 8 years there every day, I saw how perfect and complete their curriculum was. Plus the environment of the Istituto Galilei is excellent within Florence. Apart from the learning part, they showed me a human side by helping me find a hotel and transport and by worrying about my well being.
What could be improved: I wish istituto Galilei the best and hope that everyone can see their professionalism! No negative aspects, obviously!

What I would highlight: Alma was a masterful teacher who taught me Italian language, culture and literature during three weeks in Firenze. Her love for music was a good base to start communicating and understanding the Italian language. Thank you, Alma, for this beautiful experience! I also want to thank Tania, who made sure my stay in Florence was great and without major problems. She took care of endless details, such as accommodation and transport. Also thank you, Angelo! Your lessons about Italian art and history were energic and truly knowledgeable.

Italian one to one courses in Florence

What I would highlight: Three years ago I combined Italian language with art history. This time I went for an Italian language and and a cooking course combination! Florence is the perfect scenario to learn Italian. This during the morning I attended individual lessons and during the afternoon I ventured into chef Lino's kitchen, who runs a restaurant near the Duomo.
What could be improved: Nothing bad.

What I would highlight: I studied Italian in two different learning centres in the United States. After this experience I decided that I had to study in Italy and Istituto Galilei was able to offer me a couse both professional and motivating. I highly recommend this school as the one-to-one lessons were 100% tailored depending on the students' needs. I was also given access to a lot of newspaper, media, books or magazines in order to get in touch with their culture.
What could be improved: Highly recommended!

What I would highlight: I heard about Istituto Galilei in my school language in Istanbul. It turned out to be a great experience as I could fully customise my lessons and the teacher would adapt herself to me. sometimes we even had our lessons in a cafeteria or in a library. I wished I had stayed more than 3 weeks. I want to thank Tania, Rita and Giuliana because you helped me arrange my life during those 3 weeks: from accommodation to transport.

What I would highlight: I am not good at languages and I still do not know how Istituto Galilei managed to teach a thickhead American like me. My wife is Italian and I managed to act as an interpreter between the two families. I really want to thank you as I never imagined I would be able to speak so fluently.
What could be improved: What else could I ask for?
