What is the Legal Requirement?
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 state that Abrasive Wheels must only be mounted by persons who have been trained and certificated and then appointed by an employer to mount the classes of wheels that they have been taught to mount.
Suitable For
All personnel who use and change abrasive wheels, depressed centre grinding wheels and cutting off wheels.

Course Aims
To ensure that delegates know how to select, fit and use abrasive wheels and discs and to ensure that the training meets the statutory requirements of The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and Section 2 (2c) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Duration
Half day - Suitable for portable equipment, angle grinders and cutting off wheels etc.
One day - Suitable for mounting all classes of wheels. (1-9)
Also this course can be carried out at your premises for up to 12 delegates for a cost of £350 +VAT for half day or £550 +VAT for whole day
