This Access course enables you to go on to university after a year of study at Barking College where you will gain an Access to H.E. Diploma.
This course is designed for those wishing to enter nursing or other health related professions.
Assessment:
Assessment is continous throughout the year. You will complete projects, written assignments, tests, laboratory skills and report writing.
All units are graded as a pass, merit or distinction and you must obtain at least 60 units at which 45 must be at level 3 In addition, in order to progress onto HE you must also achieve GCSE equivalences in English and Maths..
Course Leads To:
Successful completion of the Access course will enable you to apply for a degree/diploma course in nursing and midwifery; and degree programmes in health studies and health management.
