What is the course about?
This course is aimed at students that would like to progress to Higher Education. On successful completion of the course the student will gain the academic qualifications to enter Nursing, Midwifery and other Health related professions.

What are the course outcomes?
Access certificate of at least twenty credits of which at least fifteen should be at Level 3 to progress to Higher Education.
How will you be assessed?
Assessment will be through: essays, classroom-based tests, oral presentations and written reports. There are no final examinations. Students will be expected to undertake at least 16 hours of self-directed study per week.
