Access is a programme designed for adults who wish to enter University, Teaching Hospitals, Higher Education Institutions and colleges. It can also lead onto diplomas or professional training courses. Our Access programmes are validated by TRAC Open College Network and provide a nationally recognised qualification.
About the Course
During the course you will be asked to complete a number of units which will build a bank of course credits.
Simply choose 4 subjects from the social science or Art and Design modules, or choose Life Science.

What are the entry requirements?
How is the course assessed?
Each unit comprises a number of assignments such as essays reports,presentations or short tests. You will be given two or three weeks to prepare and complete each assignment. Students pass or fail, with individual references indicating the level of achievment for the benefit of Higher Education admissions.

What facilities can be used on this course?
You should not lose any benefits from returning to study via the access course as it has less than 16 hours of contact time.
