Access to Higher Education Diploma (Business and Financial Services)

The one year Access to HE Diploma in Business and Financial Services is designed for people who wish to develop their understanding of businesses and how they work in a variety of contexts. This is ideal preparation to go on to study a degree in Business and associated disciplines. Areas covered include Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Customer Service and Business Planning. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your academic writing and numeracy skills. Support is also available to help you complete your UCAS application. The course is delivered in one year over three days a week Access to Higher Education Diplomas are designed to help you return to studying after a break. Lessons are typically a mix of taught sessions, presentations, discussion and project work. Assessment is through assignment work including essays, reports and presentations alongside some timed tests or examinations. The Business and Financial Services Diploma leads primarily onto degrees in Business and Management, Human Resource, Marketing, Retail, Finance.
