Is this course for me?

This course is for those aged over 19 and who want to go to university to train as a primary teacher but do not have the appropriate university entry qualifications. You will study English, maths, science, curriculum studies, ICT and either art or design and technology. During the spring term you will arrange an observation placement in a local primary school.

This can lead to a place on a BA (Hons) degree in Education and subsequently employment as a teacher or a general education degree and employment in a range of education related industries.

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
