Access to Higher Education (Health) Course information
This course is designed for students who may not have any recent qualifications which enable them to gain entry onto a higher diploma or degree level course. The student will gain a sound overview of health covering physical, social and psychological aspects. The course leads to an Access Diploma. In addition to providing an academic qualification the programme will also develop the study skills necessary for a higher course.

What you can do after this course
Progression routes afterwards include Complementary Therapy, Midwifery, Nursing, Occupational Health, Podiatry, Speech Therapy and Sports Science.

Entry requirements
  • Successful applicants will normally have substantial experience of life outside of formal education, gained since completing compulsory schooling.
  • The College welcomes applicants over 21 years of age, each application is considered on individual merit and formal qualifications may not be required dependant upon experience
