Access to Higher Education - Medical Science

Three Modules are studied. Module options are: Biology Chemistry Mathematics or Physics In addition a Research Project will be undertaken chosen from one of the subject areas. Credits are awarded for the Access course modules. To achieve the Access Diploma, you must gain all 60 credits, including a minimum of 45 credits at Level 3. There are 20 units of 3 credits each; 7 units of Biology, 6 of Chemistry, 6 of Physics or Maths plus the Research unit. 15 credits are graded, while 5 must be passed but are not graded and used as introductory units to build confidence and knowledge.
