3. Entry requirements You will need 4 GCSE's grade C or above including English and Maths (and Science if you wish to go into Primary Education). You must evidence previous study within the last 5 years at level 2. Complete a successful interview with assessment comprehension task.You must be working / volunteering in an education setting and be able to provide evidence of this by way of a reference. If English is not your first language, you may need an assessment before enrolling on this course. To discuss further, please contact the ESOL department on 0151 551 7144. 4. Equipment required Once you have made an application you will be invited to an Information Evening. At the Information Evenings we will give you further information regarding the course, career routes, progression to University and HE degree programmes available at Wirral Met College. You will also able to book an interview with us, if you meet the entry requirements. If you do not meet the course entry requirements then you may be offered an interview for our Pre Access Humanities which provides you the opportunity to gain GCSE Maths and English, as well as relevant subject knowledge. 5. Assessment method You will be assessed on the programme using a variety of different methods. Exams, reports, essays, presentations and independent research reports are all designed to prepare you for Higher Education.
