Access to Higher Education (Science) Course information
This course is designed for mature students who require qualifications to gain entry onto a diploma or degree level course. The two main themes of the course are the human body and the environment.

What you can do after this course
The course will provide an entry route for University courses in dietetics, physiotherapy, radiography, science based degrees including animal care, environmental science, food science and forensic science. Also useful for careers in science teaching, computer science and nursing. Students can also progress to Pembrokeshire College courses such as BSC/HND in Coastal Zone Management, Sports Science and Computer Studies.

Entry requirements
  • Successful applicants will normally have substantial experience of life outside of formal education, gained since completing compulsory schooling.
  • The College welcomes applicants over 21 years of age, each application is considered on individual merit and formal qualifications may not be required dependant upon experience

The Access to Science is an intense modular course.
