The Course will provide the required nationally accredited qualification to apply to Higher Education Universities and Colleges to study to work in the Armed Forces, Central and local government, Fire Service, Health & Social Care, Police and Voluntary sector.
Suitable for: Access Courses are for people who wish to gain entry to Higher Education but have not yet achieved the necessary qualifications. They are particularly suited to adult learners including those who have been out of education for some time.

Fiona Johnston

Fiona has a BA (Hons) in Applied Community Studies and worked for Social Services as a residential social worker before doing her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), she then worked for a number of years teaching Access to HE and A levels in an FE college. Fiona then worked for the Open College Network North West Region (now known as Open Awards), which was an Access to HE Validating Agency/Awarding Body, as the lead for Access to HE programmes and worked with local and national colleagues, including FE and HE partners writing and developing Access to HE units of accreditation.

Nationally recognised Access to HE Diploma in Science by Distance Learning (60 Credits) from an Online College established in 1993.
