The Course will provide the required nationally accredited qualification to apply to Higher Education Universities and Colleges to study to become a qualified Nurse or Health Professional.
Suitable for: Access courses are for people who wish to gain entry to Higher Education, but have not yet achieved the necessary entrance qualifications. They are particularly suited to adult learners including those who have been out of education for some time. There are no fixed course start or completion dates, the programme is flexible to suit your needs.
Requirements: No specific entry requirements. For some Modules, you may apply for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). This mainly relates to Level 2 English, Maths and the IT components. We also provide GCSE Equivalences in English, Maths & Science for when Universities require these for entry.
Access to Higher Education Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Professions.
Nationally recognised Access to HE Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Professions by Distance Learning (60 Credits) from an Online College established in 1993.
QAA accredited through Open College Network North West Region (OCNNWR).

You can apply to universities for a Nursing degree course leading to a career as a Nurse in any of the specialist areas: Adult Nursing Learning Disability Nursing Mental Health Nursing Paediatric Nursing The qualification specialises in subjects best suited to Nursing but you should also consider that this Access Diploma covers Midwifery and Health Professions. This means that a far wider range of career opportunities are actually open to you.
