On ARRT

Provider description
After working in the car body repair industry for 25 years and running our own small business we became aware of the lack of training and skills within the automotive industry. Over the years technology has moved on very rapidly within the mechanical and electrical side of vehicle development, training in these aspects has become state-of-the-art, although little has changed within the body repair aspect and some skilled techniques remain the same.

The biggest change we have seen in recent years is the introduction of a waterborne base coat paint system. We are fully compliant with all the new waterborne systems and we have a waterborne paint mixing scheme installed.

Another big change has seen the introduction of modern welding techniques for use with a variety of different metals used on today's vehicle's such as ultra high strength steels, boron and more commonly used aluminium.

We are an approved VBRA Training Centre. The Vechicle Body Repairs Association which is the lead trade association for the vehicle body building, commercial vehicle repair, tail lift repair, car body and SMART repair industry.

ARRT was developed in 2008 to offer short training courses in the Automotive Repair and Refinish Trade.

We aim to provide:

* The very highest standard of tuition and work-based skills development with a flexible approach in a safe and relaxed environment
* A commitment to personal development that is fundamental to raise the skills level within the automotive industry
* Essential knowledge and support

Our team of specialists looks forward to welcoming you to the training centre soon. If you have an enquiry about any of the training courses we provide or how we can help you reach your full potential, please do not hesitate to contact us.
