ACCOUNTING

Who is this course for?
Knowledge of accounting is helpful but not essential.
How long is this course for?

'AS' Level - 1 year, 5 hours per week
'A' Level - 2 years, 5 hours per week

What will I study?
'AS' Level comprises three modules:
  • The Accounting Information System
  • Financial Accounting
  • Introduction to Management Accounting

'A' Level requires three more modules studied to a higher level in the second year:
  • Further Aspects of Financial Accounting
  • Published Accounts of Limited Companies
  • Further Aspects of Management Accounting

How will I be assessed?
'AS' Level examinations are all 1 hour long, involving structured questions.

A2 Level examinations are all 1 hour 15 minutes long, involving structured questions.
