Why choose this course?  If you want an accountancy and finance degree that is guaranteed to give you the best chance of achieving your chosen career, then look no further than North Wales Business School.   According to the 2016 Complete University Guide, our BA (Hons) qualification is ranked second in Wales for graduate prospects, offering two pathways to the world of work.   The first is the traditional route into the accounting profession, a prestigious and diverse sector we have supplied with hundreds of qualified graduates over the years. We do this as an approved ACCA tuition provider, and our innovative modules mirror the changing needs of the industry.   The second access point comes via the selection of finance modules and can lead to an equally attractive future within the financial services arena.   Our accounting and finance students benefit from the university’s links to businesses, with over 1,500 industrial global partners including giants of the finance world - KPMG, Grant Thornton, Santander and DTCC.   These connections provide them with work placement opportunities as well as networking and development sessions.   We are passionate about excellence for all of our students and that is reflected in their grades. In the first semester of the 2015/16 academic year, more than 85% of North Wales Business School students achieved a 2:1 or above, which is higher than the national average and proves that our focus is not only on delivering cutting-edge and relevant degrees, but also supporting our students to gain the best possible results.   You can also choose to study this course as a foundation year BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (4 years including foundation year) UCAS code:A268
