2017 Entry Requirements
The offer level for 2017 entry will be BCC - ABB at A Level or DMM - DDM at BTEC Extended Diploma or 104 - 128 new UCAS tariff points.
In addition, applicants should have a minimum of GCSE grade C (Level 4 in the new grading system) or equivalent, in Mathematics.

<div id="tab2" class="tab grid_8 alpha hide-on-small" style="display: block;"> <div class="courseLinks hide-on-medium-down"> <img src="/media/liverpoolhope/styleassets/cssimages/media,975,en.gif" alt="print Icon" style="width : 24px; height : 24px; "> <span><a href="javascript:window.print()">print this page</a></span> <span class="st_sharethis_custom" st_processed="yes"><a href="#">share this course</a></span> </div> <h2>Curriculum</h2> <p dir="ltr">As you progress through your studies, the courses you will take will reflect the degree you are registered on, ie whether you are taking the Single or Combined Honours programme.</p> <p dir="ltr">Students registered in a combined programme will have 7 teaching hours per week in the first year, which will decrease to 6 in the second year and to 5 in the third year.</p> <p dir="ltr">Students registered in a single honours programme will have 13 teaching hours per week in the first year, which will decrease to 11 in the second year and 10 in the third year.</p> <h3 dir="ltr">Year 1</h3> <p dir="ltr">Courses are Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Corporate Finance, Quantitative Methods, Principles of Economics, and Foundations in Business Management.</p> <h3 dir="ltr">Year 2</h3> <p dir="ltr">The courses available are Management Accounting, Explorations in Contemporary Research, Corporate Business and Law, Taxation and Intermediate Financial Accounting.</p> <h3 dir="ltr">Year 3</h3> <p dir="ltr">Courses are Financial Management, Performance Management, Auditing and Assurance, Advanced Accounting and Accountability.</p> <p>A variety of teaching and learning strategies are used including lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials along with innovative methods of learning and assessment such as reflective group and individual presentation. Assessment methods include a strong practical and project element, together with presentations, reports, class tests and formal written examinations.</p> <h3 dir="ltr">Teaching and assessments</h3> <p dir="ltr">Teaching is structured into lectures, seminars and tutorials.
