Course Description
Designed to provide the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding which will provide entry into relevant employment and allow Progression to further academic and professional qualifications.

Preferred Entry Requirements
No specific entry requirements however applicants would be expected to provide evidence of core skills in Communications, IT and Numeracy (e.g. an appropriate range of SQA NC modules or NQ units). Entry by informal interview.

Hours per week: 6.5 hours (1 day)

Course Content
A range of accounting units including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and IT applications.

Progression
Employment within the finance function of a range of organisations and private practice. Progression to HND, professional qualifications and SVQ Accounting.
