Description:
This two year course enables the student to develop an understanding of and competence in accounting concepts and practices. It incorporates traditional accounting skills with information technology and computer training.

Content:
Financial Accounting | Management | Accounting | Cost Accounting | Financial Accounting Software | Auditing | Income Tax | Information Technology.

Other subjects may include: Law for Business | Economics | Statistics | Mathematics | Marketing.

Entry Requirements:
At least 1 SQA Higher Grade pass with 3 other passes at Standard Grade or equivalent. Successful completion of a National Qualification course including Communication and appropriate accounting units. Applications from mature students with appropriate experience will be welcomed. Entry by interview.

Qualifications & Progression:
Successful completion of the course will allow students to apply for positions in accounting firms or within the wider area of business and commerce.
