ACS Commercial ICPN1 Training Overview

This is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of commission, service, repair and breakdown of all direct fired forced convection commercial heating equipment with either 100% fresh air supply or recirculated air with forced draught or atmospheric burners by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

Entry requirements

Candidates must hold a certificate of competence in the following:

• Commercial Core Gas Safety assessment COCN1 or CoDNC01 and
• Installation first fix commercial appliances ICAE1 or
• Installation first fix commercial pipework ICPN1 (required if pipework exceeds 28mm diameter)

Start dates and fees How long is the course?

1/2 day for training followed by 1/2 a day for assessment.

How will I be assessed?

Through theoretical and practical applications.

Success rates

100% since commencment.

What does the course lead to?

The training leads to assessment on the same day and if proved competent will lead to registration with Gas Safe Register.
