What will I study?

outlines all criteria for ACS core gas CCN1.
A brief summary:
Domestic installation -
- Tightness testing
- Installation of pipework and fittings
- Checking and setting domestic meter regulators
- Checking and setting burner pressures and gas rates
- Re-establish existing gas supply and relight appliances
- Characteristics of combustion

Identification of unsafe situations / use of emergency
notices - and warning labels
- Ventilation
- The operation and checking of appliance gas safety devices
- and controls
- Flue testing the installation of open, balanced and fan
- Assisted flues.
On successful completion of these assessments candidates will be
eligible for further ACS categories.
What are the entry requirements?
Candidates must hold ACS certificate CCN1 (must not have
expired over 12 months)
