About this course

Students must be either an experience gas fitting operative seeking to be re-assessed, or must hold a nationally recognised qualification in a trade associated with gas work (e.g. plumbing)

Introduction:
To comply with national regulations an individual can only carry out work in relation to gas fittings or gas storage if they are competent to do so. The Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) provides opportunity to achieve this competence.

Study Mode & Location:
The assessment and training courses range from a half day to 1 week depending upon the unit studied. They are held in the Gas Assessment Centre at Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincent's Road, Preston, PR2 8UR.

Course Content:

You may need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser before enrolling on this course.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
