Michael had spent a number of years as a successful salesman and achieved top 5 status in the U.K. within his industry before moving into therapeutic work. He was trained and worked at the family intervention service in Manchester for over five years and used Solution Focused Brief Therapy in its purest form. The results were impressive with a wide range of clients problems including drug abuse,self-harm and family breakdown. He was privileged to run a pilot project for the mental health service in East Manchester which successfully engaged hundreds of young people.

That's 300 potential orders or future clients for every single person you know. Now think about how many good contacts you have lost touch with in the last 2 years. Who are you going to ring first? The same applies in our working lives where the truth is we are being interviewed for our next promotion every single day we attend work. No matter how impartial the recruitment process, we all make judgements about each other on a constant day-to-day basis. On many occasions these judgements are instinctive, subconscious and based on previous unproven data. For thousands of years our brain has had to learn to read the non-verbal signals given off from others and builds those into its response.
