Course programme

1 Day Acupressure Chair Massage Diploma Course
(also known as On Site Massage)

At the end of this 1-day course, you will be able to perform a stress relieving acupressure chair massage on others. You will be a qualified practitioner, able to charge clients for this service.

The Acupressure Chair Massage course is specifically designed for the back, shoulders, neck, scalp, arms and hands.

It is an extremely popular therapy due to its versatility and convenience of not having to remove any clothing. Working on the pressure points of the upper body, this massage can be used in almost any setting, from the workplace to the shopping centre, even outdoors; hence it is also known as 'On Site Chair Massage".

The massage movements and techniques can be adapted to suit your client. Furthermore, the length of time for treatment is flexible making this attractive to busy executives. Around 10 to 25 minutes is the usual amount of time for this massage sequence.

There is a detailed full practical demonstration for the entire class to observe which is broken down into smaller sections, making it easy to follow & learn. We only run small courses of up to 6 people which is necessary to give you individual attention and to respond fully to any questions you may have. We will make you feel comfortable and relaxed in this learning environment and you will be encouraged to communicate freely and openly in the class.

This course has been awarded 12 CPD points.
