Administering and managing in-service inspection systems

This course is for those looking to improve their in-service inspection skills and is particularly geared towards those who will manage and administer in-service inspection equipment.

This one day intensive seminar covers management systems and how to inspect, administer and manage them. It also covers the law and scope of the legislation pertaining to this area. Particpants will review electrical equipment classification, and there will be hands-on training for in-service Inspection and testing.

Another important area is documentation and labeling, and students will also study this as well as receive training for competence in reading Instruments.

This course is suitable for: electrical and non-electrical personnel responsable for the safe use of electrical equipment and portable appliances. Students are encouraged to bring their own “Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing Electrical Equipment.” There will be a 1hr 20 min 40 Question, Multiple-Choice Online Examination.

The course addresses the setting up and management of the systems involved for the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The unit is aimed at those who will manage and administer the system.

It is recommended that candidates provide their own copy of the “Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing Electrical Equipment” book. Copies of the same will be available to candidates during the course only.
