    HR’s role in the organisation. The administrator/assistant’s role in the human resources department. Administrative systems as well as Employment Law. Employee recruitment and selection. Monitoring job applicants. Procedures of engagement with employees. Dealing with pregnancy in the workplace – maternity leave and pay. Health and Safety. Termination procedures. Disciplinary procedures and dismissal – ACAS codes of Practice.
