Course programme

In Care Homes, Hospitals and similar institutions many people will be taking some form of medication, some of which can only be administered by trained doctors and nurses (e.g. injections). These might be nurses that work with you directly or other professionals who call. Care workers need to be familiar with the medication taken by residents, and in a residential home they may also need to be trained how to record and administer them.

All instruction is by qualified nursing staff.

Recommended refresher after: 1 year
