Become a Yellow Belt in Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Authorised Training Course) away from office hours on the weekend.

There is no doubt that Photoshop is one of the most flexible, comprehensive and easy to use photo editing packages out there. Whether you’re just looking to re-touch your photos for greater impact, or to make your own layered Photoshop masterpieces, the Photoshop 101 off peak course will introduce you to the fundamentals of the package and give you the essential hands-on practise you need to get started working with the program. These weekend classes (each Saturday) will provide you with the concepts and skills to use Adobe Photoshop effectively. You get hands-on practice working with basic through to intermediate techniques to get the most out of your experience. You will use Adobe Photoshop tools for painting, retouching and enhancing images.

About this course

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Remove red eyes, blemishes, scratches, etc. using retouch technique
• Improve image colours and adjust contrast and brightness settings
• Create simple compositions by blending images together
• Add text and modify type settings in your designs
• Output artwork for web, print or video

This class is for all levels of Photoshop users, for those who are completely new to the application through to seasoned users may wish to take this class to rid themselves of those bad Photoshop habits.

Before taking this course, you should have a basic understanding of your computers operating system. For example; you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CD and other media.
