Adobe Photoshop CS6 Course

Part 1 of the course covers some of the basic features of Photoshop so that the student can navigate the environment and use Photoshop tools to work with photographic images. In addition, the orientation to Adobe Bridge and organisation of files in Bridge is covered. Although Photoshop is used by a variety of professionals, from photographers to designers to videographers, Photoshop Part 1 will focus mainly on the photography component. The illustration and animation techniques are covered in subsequent levels of Photoshop.

Part 2 of the course covers Photoshop's numerous features and how they work together to provide a comprehensive toolset for design professionals. This course delves into some of the more advanced image creation and editing techniques, and offers you hands-on activities that demonstrate how these techniques can be used in combination to create exciting visual effects.

Students will also receive digital versions of their course books. These come in .PDF (Adobe Acrobat) and .EPUB (Epub File Reader) format and will allow you to view your course books on any application that supports these formats.

Once enrolled students will receive a support email giving them access to their student files and to PowerPoint presentations relevant to the content of each unit.

Assessment is in the form an Adobe Examination. Examinations are in a multiple choice/multiple answer format. A Certificate of completion can also be sent on request if you prefer not to take the Adobe examinations.
